About

How I got here

I started software development in 2018, with Java and Spring Boot. I then worked on React and Angular applications before focusing on the backend with Node.js, TypeScript and AWS services.

At Euronews, I took over JavaScript components to move them to TypeScript and strengthened the tests. Today, at Eurosport, I develop content APIs and serverless workflows. I also designed and carried out the migration of image data to Aurora PostgreSQL.

I was also Lead Developer at Numer and a part-time teacher at HEI. At Numer, I coordinated the mobile, back-office and landing page development. At HEI, I taught a few hours a week alongside my development work.

What I work on

Develop APIs

I mainly work with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL and REST. At Eurosport, these APIs serve content and editorial tools. At Euronews, I developed and maintained the platform’s backend APIs.

Develop services on AWS

Lambda and API Gateway for serverless services, Step Functions to coordinate processing, and SQS and SNS for communication between services. I also work with data services such as RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Evolve data systems

At Eurosport, I designed and carried out the migration of image data from DynamoDB to Aurora PostgreSQL. The work included parallel verification and a rollback option.

Test, deploy and support production

I strengthened tests on several applications, worked on CI/CD and took part in deployments and incident resolution. My experience also includes Terraform and Serverless Framework.

Work with a team

I coordinated development at Numer, supported three technical teams at Novity and taught computer science at HEI. My frontend experience with React and Angular complements this work.

GraphQL APIs for Eurosport content and a migration of image data from DynamoDB to Aurora PostgreSQL.

The project in detail

At Eurosport, I develop APIs and backend services for content and editorial tools. This work has supported major sporting events and the launch of Max.

I also designed and carried out the migration of image data from DynamoDB to Aurora PostgreSQL. It included parallel verification and a rollback option to protect production.

My work on these services also includes the move from Serverless Framework to Terraform, caching and SQS/SNS messaging.

Eurosport: data access and deletion

Step Functions and Lambda workflows to process data access and deletion requests, with case tracking in Salesforce.

The project in detail

A data access or deletion request can involve several processing steps. I developed their coordination with AWS Step Functions and Lambda, using Node.js and TypeScript.

These workflows cover validation, processing orchestration and delivery of results. Cases are tracked in Salesforce.

Euronews: APIs and tests

Components migrated to TypeScript and overall test coverage increased from 5% to 65%, alongside API maintenance.

At Euronews, I developed and maintained backend APIs. I migrated JavaScript components to TypeScript and strengthened automated tests.

Overall coverage increased from 5% to 65%. I also took part in deployments and incident resolution on EC2, with occasional Terraform work alongside the infrastructure team.

Numer: a web and mobile platform for craftspeople

A platform developed through MVP to production, while coordinating mobile and web development.

The project in detail

As a freelance Lead Developer, I worked on the design and development of this platform for craftspeople, through MVP and then production.

I coordinated mobile, back-office and landing-page development. I also took part in code reviews and in setting up the technical architecture, CI/CD and infrastructure.

  • I occasionally worked on Terraform with the infrastructure team, which was responsible for the platform.
